Recognizing, Inspiring & Motivating for Agricultural Developr The First and second Edition of the Awards have triggered great sector impact with over 2million Ugandans participating to select the best of the best in the 26 categories. The categories range from exceptional public servants, individuals, NGOs, private sector players, media houses, media personalities, academicians, farmers, extension workers and many other sector players. The Previous editions have been sponsored by partners that included Bank of Uganda, UNCDF, FAO, aBi development, UTB, UDB, Centenary Bank, AGRA, Sasakawa, Agriculture Insurance Consortium, NBS TV, Baba TV and the Farmers Media Uganda.

A part from online voting, A National Awards Committee is set up working with a team of eminent individuals (Judges) with integrity in the sector that goes through the nominations, visit, profile and select individuals, organizations, companies and other partners that have helped foster development of the sector over the years.

The 3rd edition of AA-Awards will bring together the entire Agriculture Sector value chain actors and sector players to one main platform with the aim of recognizing Excellency, appreciating, inspiring and motivating for sustainable Agriculture and Agribusiness development.
